The IRAF goldcam reduction package is specialized for the extraction, sky subtraction, wavelength calibration, and flux calibration of Kitt Peak Goldcam slit spectra. It contains the general tools needed for each reduction step. However, the main emphasis of this package is to streamline the complete reduction by combining all the steps into a single task dogoldcam and collecting all the processing, instrument, and algorithm parameters into a few parameter sets. This guide describes what this task does, it’s usage, and parameters.
